For Osatech's low- and medium-voltage universal carrier machines, users can select from an integrated capacitive coupler or a push-on inductive coupler. The integrated capacitive coupler is typically used on overhead lines; it combines the capacitive coupler, coupling filter, and coupling transformer into a single unit. It connects directly to high-voltage transmission lines to enable reliable, stable long-distance carrier signal transmission while blocking power-frequency current. The push-on inductive coupler is primarily designed for buried power cables or mixed-line environments where both ends use cables.
