Application of Power Line Communication in Oil Fume Monitoring Systems

Catering outlet monitoring data is transmitted to the central collection point via power lines, reducing on-site wiring.
System Architecture
This solution consists of two PD220 devices communicating in a point-to-point configuration. The customer's distribution room HMI connects to the indoor carrier via RS485, while the rooftop grease sensor connects to the outdoor PD220 via RS485. Only the existing 220VAC network is available for indoor-outdoor communication.

Extend App
Network expansion can be achieved by adding the 4G carrier gateway GW100 and deploying redundant LORA communication terminals (one active, one standby).
Replace third-party 4G DTUs on-site to reduce costs and improve system reliability.
